Having worked as a New York/Los Angeles Talent Agent and then as a personal manager for more almost two decades, TVI founder and president Alan Nusbaum recognizes the amorphous and intimidating terrain actors face when transitioning from a classroom environment to seeking professional work. Having traveled all around the States, and the world speaking to actors, including Australia, the United Kingdom, and Germany, he’s well versed in the complexities of the actor’s journey. “Many actors are trained, however, fall short in regards to the mechanics of finding an appropriate agent, auditioning effectively, and they don’t have a clue as to what’s being cast and by whom.
All this comes when they understand the importance of being an “Actorpreneur”, a term Nusbaum coined years ago. His travels around the states and outside to other countries help educate them in these areas and help them explore the different markets available to them and facilitate their assimilation into the world of the working actor.”
