Also included are working actors in film, television and Broadway, who are experts in their fields and provide a direct link to the realities of the industry.

Zora DeHorter, csa

Casting Director

Zora is a Nigerian born, British raised, Los Angeles independent/freelance film, television, and commercial casting director. She is on the Board of Directors of the “Casting Society of America.”

Zora was a casting director for MGM Television, casting series such as  “She Spies,” “Dead Like Me,” and “Jeremiah.”

Zora is currently working on 13 projects in development and has recently cast 3 films and 1 TV show, which are now in production.  She has 65 credits to her name to date.

She was also a casting consultant on the MGM feature film entitled “Max.”

Michael Sanford

Casting Director

Since opening Sanford Casting in the spring of 2000 Michael has worked with many top directors, production companies, and advertising agencies to create an actor and client friendly office bringing 1000’s of  commercial campaigns to life. In 2009 he expanded into a full service company to include feature films, television, music videos, digital content and more. In 2018 he partnered with Jillian Johnston who is based in Atlanta to open a southeast office, Sanford Johnston Casting. He has been awarded a CSA Artios Award for his work on the Oscar winning film “The Artist” alongside his friend and mentor Heidi Levitt, a TMA Heller Award for Commercial Casting Director of Year and a the Media Access Award for his work on the CSA Equity in Entertainment Committee.

Paul Ruddy, csa

Casting Director

PAUL RUDDY, CSA: Paul has cast over 200 films and television series for Netflix, Tubi, Lifetime, Hallmark, Disney, Dreamworks, Syfy, Fox, and NBC/Universal, with A-List talent including Nicolas Cage, Harvey Keitel, Constance Wu, Rita Moreno, Vivica A. Fox and Jack Black. An Emmy-Winner for the Netflix series “Eastsiders,” Paul’s recent television credits include the AMC horror anthology series “Creepshow.” Other notable talents Paul has cast include Sydney Sweeney, Peter Bogdanovich, Justin Long, Mena Suvari, Fran Drescher, Harvey Guillen, Molly Ringwald, Ryan Kwanten, Lou Diamond Philips, Brandon Routh, Gena Rowlands, Cameron Monaghan, Chad Michael Murray, Jackie Weaver, Vinnie Jones, Steve Guttenberg, Patrick Swayze, Keith David, Kelly Hu, Tanner Buchanan, Darren Barnett, and Cole and Dylan Sprouse.

Angela Mickey

Angela Mickey is the Managing Director of Casting for Liz Lewis Casting Partners and has been at this powerhouse office for 21 years, casting on-camera commercials, V/O’s, animation, TV, Film, and theater. Recent commercial projects include Comcast, Redemption Whiskey, AT&T, and iHop.. Recent film/tv projects include The Girl Who Left Home, The Clearing, DOE, ReRUN,  A Year In Change, and the animated shows Get Rolling With Otis and Superkitties.

Geralyn Flood, csa

CASTING DIRECTOR

Geralyn Flood is an accomplished Casting Director renowned for her exceptional contributions to numerous iconic television series and films. With an extensive background in the industry, she has made significant strides in shaping the casting choices for prominent networks such as ABC, NBC, CBS, The CW, and Disney, among others.

Her journey in the industry began as a Casting Assistant to Jeff Greenberg, where she played an instrumental role in the success of notable series like “Frasier,” “According to Jim,” and “Baby Bob.” Her tenure at Zane/Pillsbury Casting further solidified her expertise, with key contributions to the Disney pilot “Good Luck Charlie” and the USA Network pilots “White Collar” and “Gary Unmarried.”

In collaboration with her partner Marc Hirschfeld, Geralyn has made substantial contributions to projects, including “Kevin Can Wait,” “Stan Against Evil,” and “The Shannara Chronicles” for MTV, among others. Her work extends to the film industry, where she played a crucial role in the casting of significant films such as “Just Like Heaven,” “The Spiderwick Chronicles,” and “Ghosts of Girlfriends Past.”
