For four consecutive weeks, with two-hour weekly sessions, veteran Talent Agent and TVI Studios founder Alan Nusbaum offers a comprehensive and personalized career guidance program designed to empower actors at all levels. In an intimate, small-group setting, Alan will mentor and strategically coach participants on pivotal aspects of navigating the entertainment industry. Topics include crafting a career plan, selecting the proper representation, maximizing theater opportunities, optimizing social media presence, and perfecting headshots and resumes, along with many other critical subjects tailored to each actor’s unique needs.
This course is open to a select few. It is an exclusive opportunity for dedicated actors committed to advancing their careers, available strictly by invitation. The program is offered on a monthly basis, with affordable tuition designed to support participants in receiving ongoing mentorship and achieving sustained growth.

Alan Nusbaum is a distinguished Talent Agent and Personal Manager with a storied career in the entertainment industry. Formerly at CESD (previously known as CED), Alan represented and launched the careers of renowned actors such as Courteney Cox and Dolph Lundgren and managed the commercial careers of numerous TONY® and EMMY® Award-winning actors. His influence and expertise have helped shape the paths of some of the industry’s most recognizable talent.
As the founder of Nusbaum Talent Management, Alan successfully managed an impressive roster of clients, including Christa Miller, best known for her roles as Kate O’Brien on *The Drew Carey Show* (1995–2004), Debbie Dunning, famously known as the Tool Time Girl on *Home Improvement*, and Renée Humphrey, acclaimed for her role as Tricia in *Mallrats* and *Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back*—both directed by Kevin Smith. Renée also garnered critical praise and a Grand Jury Award at Sundance for “Best Performance” for her role in the feature film *Fun*, co-starring Alicia Witt. Other notable credits include *French Kiss* as Lilly, opposite Meg Ryan and Kevin Kline. Alan’s extensive daytime TV clientele includes Crystal Chappell, known for her roles as Dr. Carly Manning on *Days of Our Lives* (1990–2011) and Olivia Spencer on *The Guiding Light* (1999–2011).
In 1986, Alan founded TVI Actors Studio® in the Actors’ Equity Building in New York, which expanded to Los Angeles in 1990 and Chicago in 1998. Under his leadership, TVI became the largest vocational acting school globally, offering actors access to training and industry connections through workshops taught by EMMY® and TONY® Award-winning professionals.
Alan also founded American Dramatics, Ltd., a United Kingdom-based corporation, further establishing his international presence in the performing arts community. TVI Studios has served as a corporate sponsor for major industry events such as The American College Theatre Festival (ACTF) “Irene Ryan Awards” (1997–2012), Southeast Theatre Conference (SETC) (1997–2012), and The International Thespian Festival (1998–2008), underscoring his long-standing commitment to fostering emerging talent and supporting dramatic arts education. Through his various endeavors, Alan continues to be a dynamic force in the industry, advocating for actors and nurturing talent across all levels.
