Through personalized feedback and practical exercises, Dan will guide actors in connecting authentically, improvising naturally, expanding imagination, and mastering self-taping. CLASS ONE: Introductions
- Tell us about yourself – your skills, your hobbies, why did you want to become an actor?
- We really want to understand and get you in touch with what inspired you to pursue this profession to begin with.
- Do’s and Dont’s about auditioning.
CLASS TWO: Improvisation
We get asking for this a lot from directors. It’s rarely over the top comedic, it’s more thinking on your feet so they have options on their edit. We would approach this session like a callback when they might have to improv multiple different ways around the same idea.
CLASS THREE: Role Play Imagination Acting
We will provide a scenario where you are traveling to different environments and you are becoming different characters throughout. We have had commercials like this come up various times.
