Attendance Policy

Actors must be completely checked in (headshot/resume given to receptionist) at least 10 minutes before the start of each workshop. The workshop will start on time (if the workshop starts at 7:30, do not check in at 7:30, please check in by 7:20 at the latest). Otherwise, you will not be allowed in the workshop. If you are running late you must call ahead to inform TVI. However, you will not be allowed in to workshop if you are running more than 15 minutes late. The Wait List will be activated and places sold 10 minutes prior to the start of the workshop.

Wait List / Stand By List

First come, first served. You may call on the day of the workshop at 11am (not before, as the list is not available) to add your name to the stand by list. The list will be honored in order 10 minutes prior to the scheduled start time of the workshop.

Guest Cancellation / Substitution / Postponement

All of our guests are prominent industry professionals. Occasionally a workshop may need to be cancelled, postponed or the guest substituted. If this occurs a make up class may be offered with another guest from that same office. If you cannot attend the make up date TVI will extend a workshop credit. We strive to avoid these situations and rectify them in the best way possible.

Please note that workshops are not a job interview or an audition. The presence of a casting director is absolutely not a guarantee or promise of employment. The intent of these workshops are as a learning experience.
