ABOUT ZORA DEHORTER – Zora is a Nigerian born, British raised, Los Angeles independent/freelance film, television, and commercial casting director. She is on the Board of Directors of the “Casting Society of America.”

Zora was a casting director for MGM Television, casting series such as  “She Spies,” “Dead Like Me,” and “Jeremiah.” She was also a casting consultant on the MGM feature film entitled “Max.” Her depth of film casting is numerous. ABOUT PAUL RUDDY – For two decades, Paul has cast numerous, wide ranging feature films, series and movies for Lifetime, Hallmark, Syfy, Netflix, Disney, Dreamworks, NBC/Universal and AMC. Recent film credits include “Kill Chain” starring Nicolas Cage and “Max Winslow and the House of Secrets” starring Chad Michael Murray.  He is currently doing the LA casting for the series “Creepshow” for AMC/SHUDDER. He is a 2020 Daytime Emmy Award Winner for Outstanding Casting of a Drama Series (“The Eastsiders”/Netflix).

PAUL RUDDY’S COURSE DESCRIPTION – Class will include a brief intro and q&a and cover topics including:

1) Self tapes and virtual auditions: the do’s and don’ts of self-tape auditions in this new and constantly changing environment and how to maximize your audition when you are not in the room with the cd. The changing landscape of the industry since the pandemic. 

2) Doing your homework on the cds, producers and directors so you can tailor your audition more effectively

ABOUT DEAN FRONK – In 1996, Dean Fronk joined Donald Pemrick to form Pemrick/Fronk Casting. Don Pemrick and Dean Fronk have been casting for the past twenty-four years and completed over 300+  projects ranging from feature films, MOW’s, television series, and CD-Roms. 

Specializing in family entertainment, Dean has worked with young talent like Shia LaBeouf, Jessica Alba, Scarlett Johanssen, Leighton Meester, Ben Foster, Haley Joel Osment Josh Hutcherson. 

He cast many titles like Rob Zombie’s, House of 1000 Corpses, and Children of the Corn IV starring Naomi Watts. Dean has cast internationally for films in Bulgaria, Canada, Prague, Italy, India, England, Spain, and Chile.

DEAN FRONK’S COURSE DESCRIPTION – This session will focus on memorization and strong choices to make the most of your self-tape auditions. You will learn to maximize your time in the audition and leave a lasting impression on those who make decisions. We will start with Q & A and then go right into on-camera auditioning.
