About Casting Director Todd Thaler
Todd Thaler’s credits as a Casting Director date back to 1986, but he started as a “P.A.” for Jack Rollins &
Charles H. Joffe Productions, Woody Allen’s Personal Managers and Producers. Soon after, he was assigned
the position of Extras Casting Director, which he did on 14 of Mr. Allen’s films starting with The Purple
Rose of Cairo, (along with countless others).
As a Casting Director his credits include: Luc Besson’s "The Professional," Todd Field’s "Little Children,"
Ed Harris' directorial debut "Pollock," Barbra Streisand’s "The Mirror Has Two Faces," John Turturro’s "Mac,"
"Illuminata," and "Romance & Cigarettes," James Mangold’s "Heavy" and "Copland," and Wayne Wang’s
"Because of Winn-Dixie," and "Maid in Manhattan." Over the years, he has also cast many projects for
television, including Peter Berg’s "Wonderland," and the NBC comedy "Ed," for which he was nominated for
the Emmy Award. For the past decade, he’s been teaching at the Atlantic Theatre Company Acting School.
About Casting Associate Jamie Schulman
Jamie is a freelance Casting Associate based in New York City and is
currently working at ABC for pilot season 2012. She has worked with
prominent casting directors such as Kathleen Chopin, Jennifer Euston,
Ellen Lewis, Ellen Chenoweth, and Mark Saks.
Jamie's film credits include “Mr. Popper's Penguins”, “Arthur”, “The Other Guys”, “Cop Out”, and “It’s Complicated”. In addition to film, Jamie’s television credits include working at ABC during Pilot Seasons in 2009 and 2010 and the upcoming A&E mini-series "Coma". Jamie is always excited to meet and work with new talent!
