Join him for an exclusive nine-hour, one-day intensive on-camera course that covers network
pilot season
and the casting of series regular roles in new television projects.
You'll work with John on actual scripts from some of the major hit series
he
has
worked on as he helps you unlock the secrets of successful primetime
television auditioning.

About John Ort:
John Ort is the Manager of Casting at ABC Primetime in New York working with
Marci Phillips in casting series regulars for numerous pilots and currently
running series for ABC/ABC Studios as well as some episodic casting. Recent
pilots include ZERO HOUR, BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE, BEAUTY AND THE BEAST and
AMERICAN JUDY, to name a few. He is in his fifth consecutive year in the
casting and production on the ABC NY Talent Showcase. The office is
currently working on many projects and is always looking for new talent.
Recent independent projects include HELLO, MY NAME IS BILLY (Fringe '11),
OVER AND OVER (Fringe '10) and FLIGHT (Fringe '09) as well as additional
casting on the indie film THE LOUISIANA CONVERSATION. He has worked with
Sig De Miguel and Stephen Vincent on feature films RABBIT HOLE and MESKADA.
In addition he has worked with Downstairs Casting and Cindi Rush Casting.
John graduated as a theater major with honors from Fordham College - Lincoln
Center.
