This intensive class develops the cold reading and audition technique of experienced actors. Working on comedic and dramatic scripts from award-winning films, the class enables the actor to work on character development and script levels, honing skills and perfecting audition techniques. Jonathan uses his extensive experience and unique approach to guide the advanced actor through the audition experience.

Instructor Bio:
In just under 15 years Jonathan has compiled quite an extensive Film and TV casting resume. Along with being the casting director for "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" for the past 7 seasons, Jonathan has cast projects including Wayne Wang's "Maid in Manhattan" w/ Jennifer Lopez & Ralph Fiennes and the NBC series "Ed" for which he garnered an EMMY nomination for "Outstanding Casting of a Comedy Series". Most recently he cast the feature "See You in September", "Stateside" the NY casting for "Prayers for Bobby" and "Because of Winn-Dixie". Over the years Jonathan has collaborated on dozens of projects with various casting directors some of which include "Wicker Park", "Pollock" "Tumbleweeds" "Joan of Arc" "Illuminata. In 2009 Hollywood Reporter & Backstage placed him as one of the "Top 25 Power Casting Directors in Film & TV" and in 2004 Ross Reports names Jonathan one of TV's Top 20 casting directors. He is a member of the Casting Society of America & Academy of Television Arts & Sciences
