What is the Hybrid Conservatory?

It is the unique blending of conventional acting training with the ‘real world’ skills
of promoting and building relationships that has made TVI Studios the leader in
accelerating the careers of actors.

Eight well-deserving actors will be awarded one of these special scholarships ranging
from $3,500 to $7,500.

TVI’s Hybrid Conservatory, America's most progessive and comprehensive professional
acting program, encompasses traditional ‘core’ foundation acting training as well as
industry showcases and professional relationship building opportunities with casting
directors, talent agents and other industry professionals.

During the first eight weeks participants enjoy a series of comprehensive foundation
coursescovering acting technique, improvisation, text analysis, voice, movement, and more.

Participants also receive specialized training for their professional career in commercial, film
and TV auditioning techniques as well as the ‘business of acting’ which includes necessary
information about talent agents, managers, casting directors, building professional
relationships, promoting and more.

Finally, participants will enjoy a special week of meeting and networking with 20 different
talent agents and casting directors in a series of master classes and showcases.
 
TVI Actors Studio is centrally located in the heart of New York’s Entertainment Industry
